Tour Plan
Your adventure begins as you land in Tirana and are welcomed by your driver. After settling into the hotel, the city opens up before you: Skanderbeg Square, the Old Mosque, the Clock Tower, the impressive new Namazgja Mosque and the historic walls of Tirana Castle. It’s the perfect introduction to Albania’s unique blend of Ottoman, Islamic and modern European influences. Overnight in Tirana.
After breakfast, you leave Tirana behind and drive towards Kosovo, crossing beautiful rural landscapes on your way to Prizren. Once checked into your hotel, a guided city tour brings Prizren’s charm to life — the Sinan Pasha Mosque, the League of Prizren Museum, old stone bridges and streets lined with traditional Ottoman-style shops. With its riverside views and warm atmosphere, Prizren often becomes a favourite stop. Overnight in Prizren.
Today you head to Peja, a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive away. After checking in and recharging over lunch, the beauty of the region unfolds: Drini Waterfall, the dramatic Rugova Valley and some of the city’s notable Ottoman mosques. Peja offers both nature and heritage in a single breath, making it one of Kosovo’s most picturesque cities. Overnight in Peja.
You return to Albania this morning, travelling to Shkodra — one of the country’s oldest and most historically important cities. After checking into your hotel, a guided tour takes you to the imposing Rozafa Castle, the elegant Lead Mosque, the famous Mesi Bridge and the bustling city centre. You’ll also visit the impressive Abu Bakr Mosque, a symbol of Shkodra’s vibrant Muslim community. Overnight in Shkodra.
In the morning, you make your way to the atmospheric hilltown of Kruja. After arriving and settling into your hotel, you explore Kruja Castle, its fascinating museum and the iconic Old Bazaar — a lively stretch of cobbled lanes filled with traditional crafts and souvenirs. It’s a beautiful final glimpse into Albania’s proud heritage. Overnight in Kruja.
After breakfast, you transfer to Tirana Airport for your flight home, taking with you the culture, warmth and memories of the Balkans.
