Touch down in Fez, where your driver greets you and transfers you to your charming riad in the historic medina. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening — unwind with mint tea on the rooftop, explore the nearby alleyways, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of old Fez.
Early arrivals may meet the local guide for a short introductory walk into the medina (subject to arrival time).
Overnight in Fez – Riad Dari or similar
“Ancient Wisdom, Hidden Crafts & Living Heritage”
After breakfast, begin your journey with a panoramic viewpoint at the Merenid Tombs, where the entire old city unfolds beneath you — a sea of rooftops, minarets and winding alleys.
Next, visit a traditional pottery workshop, watching artisans craft Fez’s famous blue ceramics using centuries-old techniques. Then continue to the Royal Palace (exterior visit), admired for its grand golden gates and exquisite mosaics.
Walk through the iconic Bab Bou Jeloud (Blue Gate) into Fez el-Bali, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited medinas. Explore bustling souks filled with spices, copperware, leather goods, weavers and traditional workshops.

Return to your riad in the evening.
Overnight in Fez

Travel through olive groves and rolling countryside to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of North Africa’s best-preserved Roman cities. Wander through basilicas, triumphal arches, and intricate mosaic floors such as the “Bathing Nymphs” and “Orpheus.”
Continue onwards to Meknes, the imperial city of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Explore:
