After breakfast, head south with a scenic coffee stop in Belsh. Arrive in the fairytale-like city of Berat, known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Explore the hilltop castle, stroll through cobbled streets, and visit two of Albania’s oldest mosques. The afternoon is yours to wander or simply enjoy the views.

Depart early for Gjirokastër, a UNESCO-listed city wrapped in stone. After check-in at Hotel Cajupi, venture into the city’s majestic castle, browse traditional handicrafts at the bazaar, and admire the architectural charm of this hillside town. Don’t miss the atmospheric old mosque nestled among the rooftops.

Today, the journey heads to the coast—but not before a magical stop at the Blue Eye, a crystal-clear spring gushing from the depths of the earth. Then it’s off to Ksamil, where soft sand and turquoise waters await. After soaking up the sun, continue to seaside Saranda and settle in.

Follow the winding coastal road to Himara, with a stop at the intriguing Porto Palermo Castle, perched dramatically on a peninsula. After check-in, enjoy free time to unwind on Himara’s unspoilt beach, dip into the Ionian Sea, or just take in the sunset over the mountains and water.
